Project Ideas for this page

Dang I need to learn how to make a nice looking blog of some sorts. Anyone want to help me? Something clean and simple like this would be nice (no I don't know her - I only found her site and thought it was well designed and executed). Not nearly as complex. Or this would also be nice. Man, despite my college education in computer science, I have no artistic talent. Sigh.
